IS007 - 2 daagse Confined space safety guard

Target Audience:

Employees responsible for the safety of workers in confined spaces and who need to provide first aid in case of emergencies.

Course Content:

Theoretical Sessions:

• Definition of a confined space
• Potential hazards and risks associated with entering confined spaces
• Development of appropriate rescue methods for emergencies
• Clarification of roles and responsibilities when entering confined spaces
• Description of necessary entry tools
• Registration procedures for individuals entering confined spaces
• Basic knowledge of evacuation equipment and techniques
• The importance of personal protective equipment
• Recognizing oxygen concentration measurements, toxic or flammable substances exceeding safe levels, and how to respond appropriately
• Procedures for the correct response in case of an alarm near a confined space

Practical Sessions:

• Proper use of entry tools and context
• Mastery of evacuation equipment: rescue winch/hoist, horizontal evacuation from a manhole, Rautek grip
• Use of entry permit
• Registration of entrants
• Efficiently sounding an alarm
• Appropriate response to alarms in confined spaces
• Entry with independent respiratory protection, horizontally and vertically
• Ability to act quickly and efficiently in emergencies
• Placing independent respiratory protection on victims
• Applying life-saving skills (CPR)

Certification:

• Participants who pass the IS-007 training will receive a BeSaCC IS-007 Certificate. 
• Participants who didn't pass the training can receive a Tsaar Certificate.
• These certificates are valid for 5 years.

Admission Requirements:

To participate in the training, participants must:
 

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be medically fit for the role.
• IS 081

Duration and Location of the Training:

• The duration of the training is always 2 days.
• The training can only be taken at Tsaar in Kruibeke.
